Faithful Management of God’s Resources – Stewardship Ministry

The Stewardship Ministry at IES Haggai Chapel exists to help our community understand and practice biblical stewardship — the faithful management of all that God has entrusted to us: our time, our talents, our treasure, and our relationships. We believe that everything we have belongs to God, and that we are called to use it for His glory and the advancement of His kingdom.

In a community of medical professionals, students, and staff, stewardship is about more than money. It is about how we use our gifts, how we manage our resources, and how we live generously in response to God’s grace.

What We Do

• Teaching & Discipleship We teach biblical principles of stewardship, helping believers understand God’s design for generosity, giving, and financial management.
• Financial Accountability We oversee the financial affairs of the church with transparency, integrity, and accountability.
• Resource Mobilization We help the church mobilize resources for ministry, missions, and community outreach.
• Generosity & Giving We encourage a culture of cheerful giving, helping members experience the joy of investing in God’s work.

Why Stewardship Matters

Stewardship is a matter of the heart. It is about recognizing that everything we have is a gift from God and responding with gratitude, faithfulness, and generosity. When we practice biblical stewardship, we experience freedom from the love of money, joy in giving, and the satisfaction of participating in God’s work.

Whether you are a student learning to manage a small stipend or a professional with significant resources, the Stewardship Ministry is here to help you grow in this vital area of discipleship.

God loves a cheerful giver. Come and learn the joy of stewardship.
